Woman Injured After Shooting In Lowry Hill Neighborhood

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A woman suffered life-threatening injuries after a shooting in the Lowry Hill neighborhood of Minneapolis.

According to Minneapolis police, officers responded to the 1900 block of Colfax Avenue South around 7:30 Friday morning on the report of a shooting. They learned that a woman had been injured and was taken to Hennepin Healthcare.

Police believe an argument escalated, and there was a shooting in or near the street.

The incident is under investigation.
