Willmar and Kandiyohi County to work on ADA compliance

Both the city of Willmar and Kandiyohi County have approved Americans with Disabilities Act self-evaluation and transition plans, which focus on pedestrian facilities in public right of ways, such as sidewalks, street crossings and paths. Both reports show upgrades are needed, though most of it is bringing items up to current code, which has changed as technology has improved.
