Man Hit By Train In Northeast Minneapolis

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — A man was hit by a train in northeast Minneapolis early Sunday morning.

Police said his injuries are serious, but he is expected to survive.

The man was struck near 18th Avenue and Quincy Street around 5:40 a.m. He was taken to an area hospital by ambulance.

BNSF Railway police are investigating the incident.
