Invest in Willmar fields and event center plans tabled as more information is gathered

The Willmar City Council Public Works and Public Safety Committee tabled the approval of the plans for the Invest in Willmar recreation fields and the rec and event center, delaying final approval for the projects. The Finance Committee also had discussions about approaching the state legislature to allow the sales tax to be extended to collect the full $30 million.
