MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — The Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) announced Sunday that the number of positive coronavirus (COVID-19) cases in Minnesota has risen to 15,668, up 699 from Saturday. Twenty-two more people also died, bringing the death total to 722. This comes as Minnesota’s stay-at-home order is set to expire on Monday.
Here are the latest updates in the COVID-19 pandemic:
- 12:50 p.m.: Maplewood Mall and Northtown Mall to reopen May 21.
- 11:00 a.m.: MDH officials report an additional 699 cases of COVID-19; 22 more people have died due to the virus.
- 9:00 a.m.: Spain to consider requiring masks in public.
- Last Night: Minnesota House approves COVID-19 public safety solutions, requirement to test and store rape kits.
