All quiet on the western front concerning the Appleton prison facility

Unlike previous years, there is no movement afoot in the state Legislature or in the Appleton community to campaign for the re-opening of the Prairie Correctional Facility. The pandemic has put this discussion on pause, but interest in and hope for future use of the facility remains very much alive.
