The Trump administration has shut down its specialized LGBTQ+ youth suicide and crisis hotline under the 988 Lifeline. The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration released a statement clarifying that the hotline will “no longer silo LGB+ youth services” to “focus on serving all help seekers.” Brandon Wolf, the national press secretary for the Human Rights Campaign, joins with more details.
