The prosecution and the defense delivered opening statements in Alec Baldwin’s involuntary manslaughter trial on Wednesday. Baldwin is charged in the 2021 shooting death of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on the set of the Western film “Rust.” He has pleaded not guilty.
