Motorcyclist Killed In I-494 Bloomington Crash

MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – A man died on Sunday morning after he lost control of his motorcycle and hit a car, State Patrol says.

The crash happened at Interstate 494 over Interstate 35W in Bloomington.

State Patrol says that shortly after 3:30 a.m., the motorcycle driver was traveling west on I-494 when he lost control and crossed the median. Then he collided with a Volkswagen driver, who was traveling in the eastbound lane.

The driver of the Volkswagen was not injured.
