A jury found Ed Sheeran did not copy parts of Marvin Gaye’s “Let’s Get It On” in his hit song “Thinking Out Loud.” After the verdict was read Thursday, Sheeran gave a statement, saying, “these claims need to be stopped so the creative process can carry on and we can all go back to making music.”
