Loren LaBatte, 47, will serve five years of supervised probation for his conviction of aiding and abetting second-degree assault with a dangerous weapon. Co-defendant Gordon LaBatte took responsibility for the assault in which a 45-year-old man was stabbed, kicked and struck with a hammer.
