Ohio State was picked for last place in the Big Ten and has been the surprise of the conference so far, off to a 6-2-0 start thanks to some excellent goaltending from a Czech freshman. The Buckeyes travel to Minneapolis to face an injury-affected Minnesota Gophers team this weekend.
